At right is a photo of a Jamaica
Caper Capparis cynophallophora. It was planted in
1780, next to the First Government House in Bermuda.
This photo comes to us courtesy of Don Kuhn,
long-time native plant enthusiast (no, he didn't plant it, just took the
photo).
We can thus conjecture that the locally indigenous plants
that you install during your lifetime will be appreciated by the people of
the 23rd Century.
What kind of a world would you like your progeny to
inhabit? It's not enough to just recycle your plastic! |

We do not sell plants by mail order.
If you can't find a certain plant in your
area, maybe it's because what you're interested in won't work there.
But, you still want it anyway?

Here is another Caribbean plant with blue flowers, Solanum
conocarpum, indigenous to St. John, in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The common name, marron bacoba, doesn't really stick in
the mind, or roll off the tongue. It should be called something like
the blue-flowered potato bush. |
